CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan is one of the most prestigious certification existing in Pakistan. It has four interlinked stages with separate certification. The stages are following:
It has total 21 papers i.e. 05 papers in PRC, 08 papers in CAF, 06 papers in CFAP and 02 papers in MSA. In addition to passing examinations of these papers a candidate must have to go through at least 3 years and at most 4 years of practical training program designed for improving her/ his skills in professional environment. This training has to be commenced after CAF stage and there are certain requirements for being eligible to attempt papers of each stage.
Any person who has passed Higher Secondary Certification or equivalent degree from any recognized institution by HEC, is eligible to have admission in CA. ICAP has recently announced its Education Scheme 2021 however it is still in process of getting implemented. Current scheme which is applicable is Education Scheme of 2013.
