ACCA from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is certification based in United Kingdom (UK). It is initiated in 1904 by a group of 8 people as London Association of Accountants to allow access to the profession than available through other accounting bodies like Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICEAW). In 1974 Royal Charter is granted to this body and its name was amended to present one. Its stages are as follows:

Students are required to pass total 13 papers excluding Ethics Module. These papers are divided as follows 03 papers in Applied Knowledge Module, 06 papers in Applied Skills Module, and 04 papers in Applied Professional Module i.e. two essential papers and 2 optional out of 04 papers. In addition to passing examinations of these papers a candidate must have to go through at least 2 years of practical training program designed for improving the her/ his skills in professional environment to get membership of the Association.

Any person who has passed Higher Secondary Certification or equivalent degree from any recognized institution by HEC, is eligible to have admission in ACCA. For further details follow the link
